Picton – The County of Prince Edward has released its 2019 Visitor Guide – a bilingual, 28-page publication illustrated by local artist Kelly Panacci.

The guide is an extension of The County’s tourism website, VisitPEC.ca, providing hot tips, bucket list experiences, a detailed map, events and festivals, and an overview of The County’s diverse regions.

“A fully illustrated guide is a first for The County and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Kelly Panacci did a wonderful job of capturing the feel of The County and bringing it to life through illustration,” says Neil Carbone, Director of Community Development & Strategic Initiatives. “Our hope is that visitors will use the guide to discover experiences in The County that they might have otherwise missed.”

The publication is intended to encourage visitors to explore off-the-beaten-path areas, to help alleviate congestion during peak season, and to recognize The County’s many charms outside the summer months.

Visitors can find the print guide at the nine tourism “hot spot” locations and online. It will also be distributed through members of the PEC Accommodations Association, the County’s five museums, the Chamber of Commerce, and other local businesses.
