Holiday Gift Tags and a Printable

It's that time of year and I'm wrapping all the things! This year I'm going to try to keep to one color scheme so when the gifts are displayed, they have a cohesive look and simple style. I will venture out for more color when it comes to wrapping for our grandsons, but for most gifts and baking I will use Kraft/White or Black paper or cello with black and white tags. Adding a sprig of cedar like I did below is a nice touch that won't cost any more than wandering into your backyard or taking clippings from your tree.

I designed a Holiday Gift Tags Printable File that you can download from our shop.

Make sure to print your file at actual size; don't scale it or fit to page. It prints onto an 8.5 X 11 page. For best results, print the pdf document onto cardstock. I used white but you could use a colored cardstock too - just remember that you'll want to see the black ink, so keep that in mind when you choose an alternate color.

You can cut out the tags with scissors, but for best results I like to use a utility knife and steel edge ruler for the straight edges and circle punches for the round tags. I used the Fiskars "Round n Round: Squeeze Punches - 2" and 1 1/2" seen below. Finally use a small hole punch (1/8") to make the hole to put string through.
